Please remember that most behaviour problems are easier to deal with when they first start. The longer they are left untreated the more difficult it becomes to do anything about them. Some behaviour problems can be caused by medical conditions and this is one reason why most veterinary clinics will advise you to have to pet examined and possibly have some tests done when you first encounter a behaviour problem. Speaking to your veterinarian early on in the course of a problems may prevent alot of frustration and aggravation for both you and your pet.
