When you bring your beloved friend in for a routine examination at Whitecourt Veterinary Clinic, our caring veterinarian can closely check your pet for a variety of medical issues, both minor and major. During this visit, the vet can also see how your young pets are developing and determine how your adult and senior pets are getting along.
New kitten or puppy? First vaccinations should occur starting at 8 weeks old. Kittens and puppies then require a booster vaccination 3-4 weeks after their initial vaccination. Puppies require another booster vaccination another 3-4 weeks after that. A rabies vaccination is administered at 16 weeks of age, and then just once a year thereafter. Both dogs and cats require yearly vaccinations. Please contact Whitecourt Veterinary Clinic for more information.
